Our non-show prospect (companion) puppies are sold with limited registration and spay/neuter contracts. A limited registration does not mean that your dog is not AKC registered, it means that if you bred your dog, its puppies could not be AKC registered. This is accepted practice among breeders at this time. As much as we value the quality of our dogs, we firmly believe that not all dogs, no matter how much we love them, should be bred. We also require that if under a spay/neuter contract, you do NOT spay or neuter your pet before the age of 12 months. A neutered or spayed animal, as long as it is allowed to complete its critical growth phase prior to the procedure, is just as beautiful and lovable as an intact one and faces fewer health risks. All dogs must be registered with the AKC within one month of purchase. Are you willing to accept a limited registration for a companion-only puppy?
Are you willing to sign a spay/neuter contract for the purchase of a companion-only puppy?
Are you currently on the waiting list with other breeders for a puppy?
